Dr. Mark Masi is a licensed clinical psychologist who received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. After receiving his degree he furthered his training by becoming certified in Clinical Hypnosis, Bach Flower Therapy and as a Reiki Master-Teacher. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Masi is an adjunct faculty member at National Louis University where he teaches clinical assessment and diagnosis in the Masters in Counseling Program.
Several treatment models advocated by the practice of clinical psychology are used to help patients resolve emotional, cognitive and behavioral problems and experience greater joy and purpose in life. These include cognitive behavioral treatment, mindfulness therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy. For patients who are interested in additional therapeutic approaches to help alleviate troublesome emotions and/or behavior Clinical Hypnosis, Bach Flower Therapy and Reiki can be integrated into the overall care plan.
Allied Clinical Psychologists, Ltd., was established by Dr. Mark Masi to empower people to work through difficulties affecting their emotional, relational, physical or spiritual well-being in a safe, supportive, and confidential environment. Dr. Masi is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who obtained his doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. In addition he is a certified hypnotherapist through the National Guild of Hypnotists, has completed his certification as a Bach Flower Practitioner through the British Institute of Homoeopathy, and is a Reiki Master. He skillfully utilizes these various healing tools to help individuals work through troublesome emotions, thoughts and attitudes in order to experience serenity and joy in life. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Masi is an adjunct faculty member at National-Louis University.
